We use your data to provide the Nexiom research workspace, personalise your feed with relevant papers, and improve the platform. Your institution name may be displayed on our website as part of our research community. You can opt out by emailing info@nex-iom.com.
Papers you upload are processed by AI (Anthropic Claude) to extract structure, methods, and references. This processing happens on secure servers and the text is not stored by the AI provider after processing. We do not use your papers to train AI models.
We never sell your data to third parties. Your papers and research data are private to you and any collaborators you explicitly invite. Published protocols are visible to other Nexiom users.
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing info@nex-iom.com.
The Nexiom browser extension reads page metadata (DOI, title, authors) only on journal websites you visit. It does not track your browsing history or collect data from non-journal pages. PDF content is sent directly to your Nexiom account.
For privacy questions or data deletion requests, contact us at info@nex-iom.com.
